The UK Glia network has been founded by a group of scientists representing all fields of glia research. Our primary goal is to create a community for glia researchers working in the UK and abroad, where we can exchange ideas, tools, communicate our research and foster collaborations.

In 2024 we held our inaugural UK Glia Symposium in Sheffield. With more than 130 participants, and with a compelling programme, supported by excellent talks on the latest topics in glia research, our meeting has been the first of many to come!
